Debbie Tanner is a 25 year old Elite Triathlete who will be representing New Zealand at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Debbie is one of New Zealand’s most successful triahtletes.  She has had podium finishes on the Triathlon World Cup circuit, placed 4th at the 2006 Commonwealth Games and was ranked 5th on the 2007 World Cup circuit.

Debbie outshone her competition to qualify for the NZ Olympic Games team in 2007 and is tracking well on her path to success at Beijing. 

2008 will see Debbie training towards her ultimate goal with every race a stepping stone towards Beijing.  Her recent 9^th placing at the Triathlon World Championships in Vancouver, Canada puts her build up right on track.

Debbie is an athlete with great personality, determination and drive.  She is more then an athlete to watch in 2008, Debbie is THE athlete to watch in 2008!
